Robitussin Extra Strength Cough & Cold

This extra strength formula is designed to provide relief from your dry coughs, chest congestion, stuffy noses, and soothe throats. The alcohol-free syrup also loosens mucus and phlegm buildup.

Take every 6 hours or as directed by a doctor. Maximum 4 doses/day.

1 TEASPOON (5 ML) CONTAINS:

Cough Suppressant Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide (DM) 15 mg

Expectorant Guaifenesin (Extra Strength) 200 mg

Decongestant Pseudoephedrine Hydrochloride (PSE) 30 mg

NON-MEDICINAL INGREDIENTS:

Citric acid, corn syrup, FD&C Red No. 40, flavour, glycerin, polyethylene glycol, propylene glycol, sodium benzoate, sodium carboxymethylcellulose, sodium saccharin, sorbitol and water.

Do not use with other cough and cold medication; a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI), a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI), or other drugs for depression, psychiatric, or emotional conditions, or Parkinson’s disease, or within 2 weeks after stopping the drug, if you have an allergy to dextromethorphan or any of the listed ingredients.

Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you have; a persistent/chronic cough (as occurs with smoking), a cough with excessive mucus, shortness of breath or other chronic lung disease (e.g. asthma or emphysema) as these could be signs of a serious condition, high blood pressure, heart or thyroid disease, diabetes, glaucoma, difficulty or pain when urinating, or are; taking a high blood pressure drug, pregnant or breastfeeding, taking medication for weight control, or have any other serious medical condition.

Stop use and ask a doctor if symptoms worsen or last more than 7 days; you develop a fever (>38°), rash, persistent headache or thick yellow or green mucus is present, are nervous dizzy or can’t sleep, have difficulty or pain when urinating; you have: allergic reaction, wheezing, itching, breathing difficulties, convulsions, drowsiness, hallucinations, and rapid heart rate; any new symptoms appear.

Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, call a Poison Control Centre or doctor right away.
